Meklit Food Complex, stands as a testament to his visionary entrepreneurship in the food industry.
Strategically located in Asella town, within the Oromia region of Ethiopia, the complex is situated approximately 175 kilometers away from the Ethiopian capital city, Addis Ababa.
Embarking on its journey in 2006, Meklit Food Complex commenced operations on a 5000 square meter land plot, with a wheat flour milling factory and an initial capital of 1.5 million Ethiopian Birr and 42 employees ,With its commitment to growth and excellence, the company has come a long way.

Meklit Food Complex production line
With its expanded infrastructure, extensive product range, and a team of committed employees, Meklit Food Complex remains steadfast in its mission to serve the domestic market and provide customer satisfaction.
Biscuit production line
Meklit Food Complex operates two biscuit production lines, each with its own distinct capacity. At present, the company distributes its products nationwide, utilizing a fleet of company-owned vans. As a result, we are able to provide comprehensive support on a national scale. Our biscuit production lines collectively employ over 280 permanent staff members.
Wheat flour milling factory
The company operates a wheat flour milling facility with a daily production capacity of 110 tons. The wheat flour produced in this section serves two purposes: it is used for internal consumption within the factory, and it is also supplied to the market for sale. The milling machines are operated by a total of 85 employees, consisting of 60 permanent staff members and 25 seasonal workers.
Corn flour milling factory
With a daily production capacity of 120 tons, our corn flour milling operation has the capability to process a significant amount of corn into flour. This capacity enables us to efficiently meet the demands of both our factory's consumption needs and the broader market.
